according to some thing i watched on telly the law on hunting now says it is illegal to hunt a fox with a pack of hounds, but ok to hunt a fox with 2 of those hounds and when it appears, the 2 hounds catch it and the rich folks shoot it, and then feed it to the other hounds. i'm glad they've changed the law, cos before it seemed a bit mean on the fox, but now it sounds cool. phew! |

I have resurrected this project and am planning to release it as an album at the end of the year.
For those not in the know, Morrissey Minors is a collection of kids singing Smiths/Morrissey songs. Original plan was to release this as a 7", but I thought it'd be fun to extend an invitation to all the mums and dads out there who have kids aged 5-10 and mates with bands who'd be up for recording a smiths or mozzer cover and submitting it for the album (to be released on Guided Missile at Christmas time). Most people on here are either in a band or know someone with a band - and home recordings on 4-track/12 track machines etc are totally fine.
I have 2 tracks done so far; "This Charming Man" and "How Soon Is Now". If anyone's up for getting involved in this please let me know. Steer clear of any unsuitable lyrics with your song choices please. Let's not go down that Mini Pops route. eg, Reel Around The Fountain or anything racey.
This ought to make for a great compilation, so if there's something you'd like to try..
